GOOD MORNING! Today is like a pivot day in the week. Here it is Wednesday. Once upon a time Wednesdays were for me the ‘safety day ‘ I had survived (not always successfully) the first days. The children were still alive and my husband still loved me (I hoped). I sincerely hoped I would make the weekend. Exhausted with trying to do it ALL I pushed on to week’s end.
Balance became my true safety guide.
I absolutely KNEW I needed to lead a balanced life or there would be no time to live. It would be all about survival!
As human beings we are in five dimensions.
1. emotional 2. physical 3 social 4. spiritual 5. mental.
Everyone needs to determine how where and in what order they balance these elements.
I’m still learning and will all life long. In the physical for example – movement and using the body is vital BUT adequate rest and sleep is equally important.
If only one of the above takes over or dominates the others our life can become out of whack. In the process we cannot function in all five areas the way we could.
HAVE A BRILLIANT DAY, EVERYONE. Think about those five dimensions to being human. (It comes from a scientific research site). Which one of in your life is ‘out of balance’?
One key is vital – never forget each day to look above the square in which you live – It’s amazing that even a simple sky can sooth the spirit. Then look out – your window may show a blank wall but looking closer could show a crack and that crack a pattern. Light indeed gives a different perspective.
All this day entails, family, children, social networking, pressures of work and home. Stop Look! Personally I would add PRAY —–The spiritual is where each person has to find their Truth and their Home. I’ve found mine. Everyone needs to find the BALANCE in ALL FIVE areas. You too can find yours.
HAVE AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL DAY
One morning even the dry and uninteresting cactus burst out into a brand new day as something beautiful. wow THE POTENTIAL in you.
Balancing the five dimensions in our lives – helpful reminder.
