LIFE – THE POTENTIAL OF A BREAKING WAVE

A thought to ponder.

 Where are you?

Where are you?

If a wave is like life where are you?

Are you confidently surging onwards with a passion about all you are doing and the joy of living?   In that place of enthusiasm and boundless joy you need to also have both peace, balance and stability.   What would you consider to be your surfboard?   On what solid foundation do you surf the swells of life?     For me it is  faith.  I thank God for my Lord Jesus Christ who really is the sure and safe anchor to my soul.

GOOD MORNING!   A NEW DAY!

Imagine your surfboard grab it and lets’ go.   May you indeed have a wonderful day not simply in what you achieve but in how the day is lived externally as well as internally.

Enthuse, inspire and  Light up your world!

Are you facing a challenge today, tonight or tomorrow? Is an overwhelming wave of circumstances about to break over you?    Are you already on the sand and seemingly being pounded by ‘stuff’.    This is where life finds us all at some time young, middle-aged or elderly.   This wave can seem to be ominous and destructive.

Be kind to yourself.   Stop!  Face the wave!  One little step at a time cling to the HOPE and certainty that there will be a better tomorrow.  On the sand seek for daily grains of comfort and gradually collect them into a kernel of inner peace and joy (that is not about laughter) and KNOW the certainty that tears blend with the ocean and you will once again surge through and rise above and in time return to brilliant sunshine?

This wave today is a symbol of Joy, Hope, and Peace and a tribute to passion which is the creative Gift within us.

MATUA – O – TERANGI!

Everyone!

Blazing Light of Divine Love

About Faye

I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions. I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.
