Good Morning!
New Day – new week – for gentle living or something achieved?
Think about what Season – It could change your thinking and your attitude to the day’s possibilities

Don’t think age today. I heard at the weekend about a lady who opened her first art exhibit on her 100th birthday. Don’t ponder one clear climatic season. Life for an individual is never going to be that precise. It will always be a mix of realities and circumstances.
Do you feel it’s a winter/fall kind of day?
Are you bursting with Spring-time fervour but constant showers are raining on your parade?
What about summer heat and passion? Is that your life? What happens if a cyclone/tornado barrels in. Perhaps you have no idea what season you should be or even are in.
Have you lost your job? Do you hate your job? Are you swamped by children and family crisis?
Only you can meditate and honestly confront. WHAT SEASON must I live this day?
Live it to the best of your ability.
Even if forced– ie Illness or dramatic changes to drop out or sit – see the open window of what even the bleakest winter/fall can produce. Draw a doodle, express a negativity or heartache then burn the paper in a fire. Send someone a beautiful card.
GRACE does pour out to transform.
Find a burst of Spring in your heart.
Have a Brilliant Day!

About Faye
I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions.
I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.
I’ve thought about your 100 year old lady:) So encouraged by her “season”:) blessings, d

Cheerful and uplifting. It is amazing what some people still achieve in the long life allotted to them. Attitude does make a difference. Also, Faye, thanks for your comment on my “Jehovah-m’keddish. You are definitely an encourager.
