CHRISTIAN MEDITATIONS. Day 1. Because I AM.

Good Morning!

Let us all go on a little journey this week.   Maybe we’ll be like ‘little children’ reassess what we KNOW and maybe for each one of us be inspired and encouraged about what we KNOW because of our faith and inspired by what we desire to KNOW…..that is more and more about HIM.   (We will never truly KNOW HIM.   He is unfathomable…that’s what the journey of life is all about……what Meditation is all about…..We must keep searching.  Seeking,)

It is written….God said (to Moses) …..Say to the children of Israel.  I AM has sent me to you.  Exodus 3:14

Blazing Light of Divine Love

Jesus said to his disciples…..I AM the Light of this world.   He who follows ME shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.   John 8:12.

(now let’s not become so comfortable with this scripture – so full of head knowledge that we flow through life and nod wisely thinking……yep I know that.)

Today……Let’s MEDITATE upon this.   Whether you are quietly in prayer or out in all sorts of difficult places.  Whatever uncomfortable or confusing place you may be.  Changing the baby’s nappy or attending a Board Meeting…meditating means it is an internal font inside.  If we are to follow HIM this day – what darkness – no matter how much fun or enticement would we become (involved with).  We may walk there or see it that is not the problem…we must see, be aware but NOT internally be  part of it.

Surely wherever we may journey He certainly will lead us to walk productively. Love, acts of unexpected kindness.   So much darkness out there we can ‘choose’ to walk in an through but meditate today on what the scripture says……….. Christian Meditation assures us it is ALL about a Person and His Desire for life’s best for us.

More importantly perhaps……..His Best for others and we truly are LIGHTS for HIM in the darkness.

Go…..Blaze!

About Faye

I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions. I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.
