four candles (2)

Good morning!   There are only a few days to go until we choose or not choose to remember a long-ago Birth and the impact of this one life in the world.

The candle I choose to light for this week I have called the FAITH candle.    I am appreciative of all beautiful Advent Traditions and even in this there is often dissention and argument about candle colours, the order in which they are to be lit and even the names.    The meaning is profound, the reality of the Birth is the intrinsic TRUTH and THE most important reason for the  candles is remembrance.

I light as a prayer, the Faith candle and my prayer for all believers this Christmas is that they will be strengthened in FAITH.   That their lives too will be able to say like the virgin Mary in the Christmas story.

May it be done to me according to Your Will and Purpose. My God.

Mary also said at the wedding in Cana…….Whatever HE (Christ) tells you to do, DO IT.

Obedience and love.            Now by faith the candles are in a row HOPE, PEACE, JOY, FAITH/LOVE.

May God be revealed afresh this Christmas in the lives of ALL BELIEVERS and for non-believers may LOVE, VISION, POSSIBILITY and desire for BETTER  stir deep questionings in hearts.

In His Name and for His Kingdom Purposes.

Journey forth in this Christmas week.   sowing hope, peace, joy, faith and love into the lives of others.  BLAZE! BLAZE! BLAZE!

About Faye

I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions. I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.

Thank you for the “fire” in your post Faye. As I approach the close of the first year of blogging, your Thursday, “pray” day has stir the fires in my spirit and soul to do the same. Meeting neighbors, and other brothers and sisters in Christ from around the world, has been an unexpected delightful surprise! Your prompting to set apart Thursday, as a day of prayer for those who we have met or will meet in our blogging community has been an inspiration:) God bless you as He uses you for His Kingdom vision and purpose! denise

Yes, do what he tells you to. I think that has a hugh impact on our faith. It is not easy to have faith when one is disobedient and will not venture to be obedient. Good lesson.
