Good Morning!
Miracles are not contrary to nature, but only contrary to what we in our limits know about nature. Augustine.
Personally I have had my own life-changing experiences of what I would term the miraculous but my question is for you to think upon as you journey this day.
I was interested to see what I could find about miracles so I googled ‘miracles’ I was overwhelmed by the entries and the stories. I had no idea that so many folk across the world have had such extraordinary experiences and how many now believe in God because of these supernatural events.
I share one of these stories ……Natalie (not her real name) was only 30 years old and had been diagnosed with a terminal illness. She was not expected to live more than a couple of months. Her parents with young brother went on a holiday (to be her last). She was very frail and ill as they journey home. On the way home they were involved in an incredible highway pileup. Many cars were totalled several people killed and Natalie was dragged from her family’s cars in a critical condition not expected to survive the night. The rest of her family were miraculously unhurt. Her mother said later she saw a Light shining and others injured on the roadside later reported that an extraordinary sense of PEACE and well-being flooded them all. Natalie was put on life support and an induced coma. To the surprise of all she woke up unexpectedly in the early morning….She sat up and laughed. The doctors were astonished. Even more surprising she was completely cured of her previous illness and that same day left the hospital completely whole, unhurt and healed in body mind and spirit.
Her whole family became Christian believers and Natalie married and had three children.
Everyone doctors, nurses, school teachers etc etc affirm that this was and is a miracle.
Interesting story. How about you and me. Can we live our lives like little children with a simply child-like faith where God is God and nothing is impossible for HIM?
Something to think about.
Have a lovely Day!
