How wise are you? Is wisdom needed in a 2016 world?
King Solomon – historically remembered as the wisest man who ever lived in the ancient world. But, also remembered for his carnal foolishness at the end of his life.
He asked for the gift of Wisdom from God. It was granted to him. Later in life he ‘forgot’ God. He became “wise in his own understanding”. He lost the DIVINE GIFT.
Divine wisdom cannot be attained by learning, or life experiences. It cannot be taught. Age cannot achieve it.
Who then can have this wisdom? There is a clear Christian answer to this question.
1 Corinthians 2: 9-16.
First we have to be ‘dead’ to all the ‘past’ and born again to the ‘new’ Roms 8:5
Here on this blog site today I simply pose the question for contemplation.
How wise are you? How wise am I? Does ‘connection’ with a Divine source make Divine wisdom possible. Ponder this today.
Should all Christian Believers be MORE than they are currently living?
Can others be challenged?. Absolutely!
This is the joy of life!
