What pieces are missing? – What must be included?

Good Morning!

Something to think about.

thSCATTERED PIECES OF JIG SAW

I read two things yesterday and then had a dream.  This is why the blog question has been written for us all to ponder.

If our lives are forming a picture – no matter our age or our circumstances and parts are to slot in like a jig-saw to make a composite WHOLE – then what pieces may be missing? What pieces are we trying to force in that don’t really belong….for example ………hurts, disappointments and anger.

Yes indeed Grace can shape the pieces to fit perfectly but there must be forgiveness and peace to make this possible.

What if we have a piece that doesn’t belong to us – we know in our hearts it is not ours to keep……give it back….Don’t hold on to someone else’s triumphs or ‘agro’

What about the piece you absolutely reject…..I don’t want that sorrow, that tragedy, that illness.    How could that piece possibly slot into my beautiful life……

All of our lives are indeed going to reveal a tapestry or picture of great difference and variety but it is the experiences that challenge us a human beings that make us truly human.  For people of faith we live with the Hope that God indeed will make all things beautiful in His Time.   In the struggles character is formed.  The potential of what can be achieved in, after, and through the heartache make the jigsaw piece when it has been softened and redefined by GRACE truly incredible.

My challenge this week may be different to yours but I will pray through the thought that if any pieces of the slotting jigsaw of my life need to be reached, oiled by Divine Grace, and then connected where they should be I will hear and respond.  This is not necessarily about heritage or family connections but letting go of what is impossible but embracing and nurturing what must be redeemed.

Hope you have an astonishing week!   Peace and Grace to you.!

UPWARD STAIRCASE

About Faye

I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions. I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.
