Good Morning!
This waking thought shocked me until I gently unpacked it. I share it here with you so you can gently and lovingly unpack as well, and find what is appropriate in your situation.

Fertilization is the process of applying nutrients to a plant or into a situation.
A plant, an animal, a person, an idea, a project, a prayer.
What could we today apply to ‘improve’ ‘add to’ or ‘make better’ in simplicity to life around?.
A drop of water, a pat, a smile, a bit of focussed time, a phone call. a letter….
Maybe today the Lord will remind us of ONE area in our lives where a tiny sprinkle of ‘fertilization’ will make all the difference.
Perhaps just shining the CHRIST LIGHT into a dark situation will be all that is necessary.
You never can measure what God will do through you…..Keep your relationship right with Him. Then, whatever circumstances you are in, and whoever you meet day by day, He is pouring rivers of living water through you.
Oswald Chambers.
A thought shared with love today. Let the living water flow through us. a-men.

About Faye
I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions.
I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.
And such a LOVELY thought to share, Faye! Not by coincidence I am sure, but rather by God-incidence I ordered (just yesterday) bug control for my indoor plants! I noticed a few annoying gnats flying around my potted plants and desired to take care of them post-haste before there was a great infestation. I suppose it should be so for my own spiritual life too. When I recognize those annoying disturbances which interrupt my relationship with God do I notice them with the same post-haste attitude? I pray I do! And I pray I am given the “proper treatments” to rid myself of that which keeps me from GROWING closer to Him. Hugs to you for the wonderful examination….
