PRESENCED – not swallowed.

1 Corinthians 3: 16,17

Do you not know that you are the Temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

If anyone defiles the Temple of God, .God will destroy him. For the Temple of God is Holy which Temple is you.

*****

‘Mum, I must have swallowed Jesus,’ the little child said to her parent. The teacher had told her that Jesus now lives in her.

From my own early problem of how a body Jesus could actually live in my heart. I was told many years ago to accept it by faith.

I have spent my life searching for personal confirmation of this TRUTH.

We all need teaching and constant reminding on WHO our trinitarian GOD really is.

It took the sacrifice of the SON at Calvary before God could come to live FOREVER with His redeemed.

No matter where we go. No matter what circumstances arise nothing absolutely nothing can separate us. Even a major surgery cannot remove God’s Spirit – Christ in us!

Accept Salvation, accept His free Gift of HIMSELF . Don’t be beguiled by counterfeit spirituality.

In Jesus CHRIST! our Saviour King and Lord. We have it all.

Spirit of the Living God, Holy Sanctifier ever bring us to repentance, forgiveness and Holiness.

About Faye

I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions. I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.

I laughed so hard when I read the lines about the child thinking he had swallowed Jesus! Good thing I was done with my coffee, again.
One of the dangers of telling people, “You are now saved to eternal life” after they have said a “sinner’s prayer” is its unBiblical basis. Nowhere in the New Testament did this occur. Rather, the emphasis was on addressing the needs of each person’s life, and when they encountered Jesus or His representatives, THEY were the ones who would announce, “I have met the Master.” Even with children, this can be a hazard that they will not expect anything from the Lord, other than a free ticket to Heaven if they “do the right things, say the right prayers,” etc..
Yet, we must instruct children to follow Jesus and invite His Presence into their lives. 😊
    love and prayers, c.a.
