HEAVENLY BREATHING

BREATHE ON ME BREATH OF GOD

                                      In Jesus’ Name a-men

Meditation and Breathing Prayers have been Christian

disciplines since the beginning of time.  In recent years the

rise of Tai Chi, Yoga and many other disciplines have

focussed on body as well as mind. So many helpful Christian

disciplines incorporate body development as well as mind.

Heavenly breathing worked for me when I was in situations

of crisis. Facing a difficult medical procedure…………An

operation  etc.    Those times when only your mind, spirit and

breath are involved.  Your earthly frame is immobilised.

           Open with prayer above.

Begin breathing in and out deeply and regularly while your mind focuses on ABOVE your circumstances……

Breathe in Breath of God.. deeply and evenly

Breathe out…….(in your mind)….I love You.

        In……..You Love me

In out, in out rhythm of life…….I love You…. You love me,

          Out.    You are Saviour

           IN.       I am Your Child

           Breathe out………regrets, failures, sins……….CONFESSION

           Breathe in……FORGIVENESS, LOVE, HOPE, PEACE

                Rhythm of life……In….Out.

   IN.    Breath of God

    OUT.        All impurities

In…..Out.   In Out……….. Peaceful and regular

BREATHE OUT ALL FEAR………BREATHE IN DIVINE LOVE.

This not only worked for me but was shared with others in a surgical ward.  Focus on a beautiful image in the mind works well also.

This can then be shared with non-Christians.  It helped and brought that PEACE beyond all understanding to medical staff as well as patients.

Blessings to you this day.  .

freedom OF peace.

About Faye

I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions. I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.

Using this form of meditative breathing is exactly what got me through the labor of all three of my children…naturally. (You know, back in the prehistoric days before an epidural became the new norm.) 🤣 There is so much He can assist us with when we breath Him in. ❤️
