To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1
There is in the return of Spring always the joy of new life to be witnessed in my section of the earth. I am aware that in other parts of our world there is also perhaps now the hint of colder and more challenging times ahead.
In our humanity we should try to find beauty in every facet of life in His created reality.
Spring always reminds me that when you KNOW and have accepted and walk with the Saviour…..you are ‘Born Again’. You spiritually now belong to a different Kingdom. You are free to soar above the restrictions of societal or seasonal restrictions and live a quality life.
BUT, ever earthbound until you journey home to Him, you have to accept with inner PEACE climatic and age or health related difficult circumstances.
Rejoice wherever you are on 1st September 2021.
Enjoy Spring if it is in your realm but hold fast to your Lord and Saviour in whatever Season or time you live.
Work to love in this day and find beauty and His Presence in and through it all.
He died and rose again to bring ABUNDANT LIFE and Hope of eternity to all who love HIM.
I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions.
I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.
So, from this blog I infer you are “down under.” Never really appreciated that term after seeing a map of the world inverted from its usual orientation with Russia and Canada on the bottom! 😁
But anyway, it’s getting to autumn in Kentucky, and even though the temps are still usually in the 80s (25-30C), there are a couple of bushes and trees starting to turn yellow and red. Portends a coooooold winter, the old guys tell me. ❤️&🙏, c.a.
