This thought was fuelled by different things I read on blogging posts.
Do any of the passionate soul and life destroying issues currently popular matter in the slightest if we are not desiring passionately to appreciate, live, care for, and give value to what is our LIFE NOW?
Will colour, sex, political and in a lot of cases religious ideologies and concepts matter in the slightest if we do not right now live passionately for our standards and live life ABUNDANTLY?.
Focus on eternity yes but only if you believe (know) that you are not simply a body falling apart.
Is there nothing left if you died tomorrow? If this is what you believe then all the issues are gist to the mill of your ongoing no eternal focus,
IT fuels a Who cares about that stuff attitude.
Are there any eternity promises offered by ANY Political or religious man- made ideals which are not motivated by NOW gratification.?
Would colour, Nationalism. Church differences, dress codes or accumulation of wealth or acclaim or power matter if we died today?
Does Communism, Capitalism, or rigid standards for Life without any Hope or eternal promise really matter at all?
Very little being driven by self-focus alone in our modern world .does, and this includes many types of music and drama. Very llittle have any hint of tomorrow.
What benefits our life NOW? not just wants and needs for ourselves but abounding in LOVE and nurture for others. Not simply inward gazing but for all of humanity and living creatures and our natural world.
Who alone in all of history has ever been known to say……….
I AM THE WAY
What is this way?
The Saviour built a bridge with His own Life’s blood to let all humanity know there is a WAY to live abundantly NOW with an ETERNITY FOCUS.
He rose from death lives today and still says ……….
FOLLOW ME!
Live ABUNDANTLT this day. Whether in sunshine, wind, storm or turmoil. Look upwards. Find a hint of blue and pray.. Not just for safety and deliverance but for a clean pure heart.
Tomorrow brings a glorious DAWN when you believe.

The value of a soul! Can’t weigh the scale enough to balance it with the soul.

Of course, if one has been a Christ-follower for long, we’ve met people who are “so heavenly-minded, they’re no earthly good” as my Mom used to say! 😏
But in reality, the people over time who have done the most to improve our situations on earth have been people who were living with eternity in view.
Jesus’ soon return is not an excuse for not caring for or evangelizing people who do not know Jesus as in “Well, I’M saved, so I’m okay.” Knowing that He can return at any time, like the sheep of Matthew 25, it is vital that we tell people of their need to find “The Way.”

ABSOLUTELY. A few years ago a friend overseas on a remote Island said to me Unless we are heavenly minded we can be of no earthly use to ‘others’. I can only tell others of THE Way when I know what destination I am confident about.
