January 5th 2022 A major surgical Procedure has been booked.

A new necessary mountain in my life is to be climbed.  My reaction was first ANXIETY. I have found surgery, anaesthetics and recovery, all life impacting in the past.   I am older now……However, ….I TRUST my Lord.        I have confidence in my surgeon.

I see the PATH.    I have time to prepare physically and spiritually to overcome.

I know Who will lead and guide me on the Way.     I KNOW Who made the Pathway!  I KNOW the ONE Who will be with me on the journey.

         Thank You Lord Jesus!

Today I will focus on the beauty and wonder of our spiritual journey towards REMEMBERING THE Birth of Our SAVIOUR.   Christmas.

Sunday will bring once again in simple reflections, memories, preparations and renewed HOPE

THE ADVENT of a Holy Birth.

His arrival was to build the bridge between this life here and ETERNITY through death upon a CROSS.      His shed BLOOD to be our fitness covering for all of this and the next as individuals following  Him on a life journey.

What an ever-evolving life for each Person.

             Let’s live abundantly TODAY,      A-men

About Faye

I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions. I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.

The complexity of journey as we age takes us a little by surprise, but God! I have been so preoccupied with my own journey this past two years i have not sent you a fragrant word to bless and love you.
Trusting that as Advent unfolds yet another hidden mystery of God will infold as your portion and cup.
My heart thrills at the majesty of His word that even the angels long to peer into.
    Love and prayers my friend.

Thank you precious one. You have always had a Holy understanding of my life and journeying. Writing my Memoirs and the death of our beautiful first born child has shown us just how AWESOME and BIG is our GOD. Remembering a beautiful journey like Advent has always strengthened my faith and is never a traditional done thing. It is for us and I Pray and believe it is fro you. A sacred if your heart is asking GOD for His IMPUT time.

Dear sister Faye, your faith is a shining light in the present darkness, and an encouragement to many including me, I will add your surgery date to my prayer diary. God bless you.

May He bring glory to his name as a result of this valley you walk. I have asked Him for sweet comfort to you as you rest in his loving arms.

Faye, I am so sorry you are going through this. Hold firm to the belief that this is just one Chapter in your life, not the whole story. And in that story you have always had Christ with you…so it shall be with this new chapter you are preparing to write. I hope you feel my hugs being sent your way and I promise to continue to wrap them in prayer for your full healing. 😘

    • Faye says:

      DEAR Dawn,
Please know I have received with heart felt appreciation all your comments and messages.. YOU are a friend I believe God brought to me on line. Thank you for all you are and All you can be in the ONE who created You,
My concern is not about the op or what will be lost it is at my age a prayer, for HIM To help me quickly recover ease of movement so I can still in life left live for HIM. The death of our daughter was the biggest shock of 2021 although expected. Like many of us some days I FEEL ancient.

The love that you hold for Him and share so abundantly with others always adds a youthfulness to my heart. Anyone who can do this must surely have a youthful heart of their own. 😊 “…for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” What a glorious day it will be when you are reunited with your daughter in His Kingdom…but for now continue to share your loving heart with those of us here – knowing that we are praying for your healing care. I am forever grateful He orchestrated our meeting on this cyber-pathway.
