I spent a lot of my early life seeking for answers .  Many folk were teaching us “You must LOVE and follow Jesus, accept Him as Saviour then you have to accept by faith the mystery of  Trinity…….. God in three Persons yet ONE Divine God.    

Then the challenging passage in the WORD 1 Peter 1 14-17 gave me much to pray and wonder about.

BE HOLY AS HE IS HOLY?  

How could this ever be Possible? Frail mortal humanity and a thrice HOLY GOD.     Be as He is?

God the HOLY FATHER

GOD the Holy SON

God the Holy Spirit

HEAVEN< EARTH AND THE UNSEEN WORLD OF THE SPIRIT

ONE GOD LOVE DIVINE covering everything            

A GOD OF EVERYTHING

.A God in and through ALL THINGS    Col 2:16 Christ preeminent in all CREATION.  

My life took me in to many darker places in  a search for spiritual Truth (not historical or academic scholarship.)   I learnt the warning personally

 We must Live in the LIGHT and not be looking in dark places.  

I’m thankful for the season where we had foundational teaching on the role and purpose of the coming of GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.    And why after Salvation this message is so valuable. 

God the HOLY SPIRIT is the One who is the SPIRIT OF WISDOM and helps us understand the written WORD. He is the ONE who leads and guides, keeps our focus on Christ as Saviour at the cross.   He tells us to put on the ARMOUR Of our role as a Child of God and as an OVERCOMER in a life living above this fallen and broken societal world.

Most importantly of all.   His main role is to ever guide us to our need for forgiveness.   He challenges us about CONFESSION, FORGIVENESS, Study of the Word as He internally works to change us into the image of Jesus Christ so we are ready to meet Him one day face to face. 

He is sanctifying us ongoing so we too  when our mortal passes away can be holy. 

We may never understand but our greatest need is to SURRENDER fully to WHO HE IS.Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Our THRICE HOLY GOD.

Let’s worship HIM today.
