ILLUMINATED LIFE PATH

AS born-again CHILDREN OF A LIVING SAVIOUR we should be as LIGHTS in the darkness of this world.    HOW?

WALK IN THE. LIGHT1 John 1; 5-7

Here at home, When a full moon rises on a still night it shines through the high window above and behind our bed.  It is reflected in the dressing table mirror at the foot of our bed  Its light is  deflected by a white pipe outside and filtered through lace curtains.

The image resembles a beach scene of gentle rippling waves and light flecks on the sand.  It is like a picture in a frame.

As uniquely different people across the world each of our lights may be filtered through different life circumstances but every one has s an opportunity to shine a light right where you are.

SMILE1 Encourage someone in your own home.. Greet a neighbor.    Ring a friend.    Make something beautiful like a card or a letter.    Use your pen to be an on line encourager.  Paint or draw a picture,    Look for something beautiful in your life inside or outside .

Sing a song of praise to GOD.    Make up words in your own heart.   Stop and listen to beautiful music.

Put on a colourful dress or shirt. I personally  often add bright colourful earrings.

If you are not a creative person use your God-given imagination to see or bring into your life something beautiful and  then find a way to share it with someone else.

Even a pinprick of light lightens the darkest place,

         Be that light in HIM.

       Have a truly blessed Sunday.

Remember!

About Faye

I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions. I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.
