REMNANT

A recent journey through Biblical history looking at the occasions when God’s People strayed from  His Will and judgment came, there was always a remnant (Sometimes only a few but these were the ones that carried the redemption Plan of God forward into our 2024 world.

It was always a lack of Holiness and God’s Righteousness.   The blindness to see His Plan for absolute holiness in the lives of His Children.

What about us today?      Is Jesus Christ who came to save us because the old law even the 10  commandments could not be kept in fullness,

Christ the redeeming LAMB of God came from Heaven to save us.

Is there only a REMNANT of His grafted children today still now allowing God the Holy Spirit to keep transforming them into Christ’s Holy IMAGE?.   It is a work that should continue life long.

A graft on a normal vine is often a weak spot on a plant in the natural.

We who have been grafted into the vine and ‘born again’ into the new life must diligently accept all that Christ won for us at the Cross but never, never let societal issues or conforming to the world allow us to deviate from God’s Redemption Plan to make all  His Children ready to meet Him. The spiritual battle is over but work to make us righteous and Holy must continue.

He now walks with is, Lives in us and His Spirit guides.   How Blessed indeed is our ongoing life.

Covered by the Blood of the Lamb we are appropriately dressed to be the BRIDE at the marriage feast.         That is His planned future.

Now we must LIVE THIS DAY,,,,,

Clothed with the Lord Jesus Christ  Romans 13,14.

EPH 6.   Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Have a wonderful SUNDAY of REMBRANCE

About Faye

I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions. I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.
