Are you playing your allotted part?

In the beginning……..GOD

The stage of human life is only significant if you accept your part and fulfill your role to the best of your ability .

Some allotted parts on this life stage are long some are very brief.

No part however should be deemed as ‘insignificant’.  If God is the Director, He alone knows what each individual will need to fulfill their role.

I know of one small child who was allowed to live against advice from some medical experts. He smiled and laughed his way through only two short years but his life, witnessed by others, brought such blessing, that his role highlighted there is value in every role on this life stage.

Never see your part as being insignificant.

High Profile people who play their parts to the best of their ability are lovingly remembered.

Others may take centre stage for a time in history but like all mortals in a puff they too are soon gone.

Some like John the Baptist are remembered for two clear statements he made.  Yet his part was terminated by being beheaded while still in the prime of human life.

          It is recorded he proclaimed.

Repent! Prepare ye the way of the Lord.    And, when his cousin emerged centre stage beside the Jordan River.

Behold the Lamb of GOD who takes away the sins of the world.

This Proclaimed LAMB of God occupies centre stage of earthly life, for three short years, but in that time miraculously shook up society around him. Then he exits centre stage by a scene of suffering and death on a cruel Roman crucifixion cross.

(what was written about this tiny piece of life shook forever the very fabric of what was considered ‘normal’.)

                            WHO IS THIS PERSON?

He bursts from death to life and returns to Centre Stage.

I AM THE RESURRECTION and THE LIFE.

I AM THE BEGINNING AND THE END.

He also said: ‘Follow ME’ .   From death to life.

We also now have a part to play on the stage of life.  What choices we make will determine what will occur when our script is completed.   When God the Divine Manager decrees ‘exit now’.

Are we fulfilling our allotted part in the unfolding Big Picture of this fractured world?

The WORD is our Handbook.    Jesus CHRIST is the GREAT I AM.

Are we fulfilling our parts? Can we Live in 2022 with HIS LOVE our Guiding Light.

We are called to stand centre stage and keep looking up to find what is of beauty and of good report.

He has promised to be with us for the whole Way forward.

This is the reason God the Holy Spirit came!

God help us all to fulfill our allotted roles.

About Faye

I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions. I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.

A wonderfully account of our purpose, Faye. To know, to love, to serve and the importance of each of those roles!! I do pray I am playing out my “part” well; but the warmest hugs go out to you, as you most assuredly are!! 😘
