THOUGHTS ON GEYSER LIFE

An Icelandic Geyser. One of our world’s wonders.

Research on geyser has been for me an interesting journey. I encourage others to find out for themselves. I believe God said G E Y S E R when I prayed about this Wednesday Blog.

When left to be naturally occurring phenomena as God created they can be admired for their beauty.

He knows all about geysers, how and why they occur, He appreciates their intrinsic beauty

Mining companies have discovered that drilling on rock surfaces near geysers can cause them to become dangerous. Almost like volcanos.

Many geysers are loved. Old Faithful is treated like a friend who erupts after every 82-90 minutes with a 100-185 foot water spout. He is left undisturbed in Yellowstone National Park in the US.

Human Beings created to be a lovely handiwork of the same creator God are fearfully and wonderfully made,

Consider Psalm 139; V13,14,15 ,16

For You have formed my inward parts;

You have woven me in my mother’s womb.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made

Marvellous are Your works.

That my soul knows very well.

15. My frame was not hidden from You,

When I was made in secret.

And skillfully wrought in the lowest

parts of the earth.

16. Your eyes saw my substance being yet

unformed,

And in Your book they were all written,

The days fashioned for me,

When as yet there were none of them

He gave His Children A Handbook for living

THE WORD. Then He sent His Son to be the Sacrifice to save our souls for Eternity.

Then, God the Holy Spirit came to keep us on the narrow Way, while ever purifying us as preparation for a HOLY FINAL dwelling Place

Only if human influence is allowed to interfere with the Plan will humans become as destructive as a geyser turned into a volcano.

Lord Jesus , Keep us in Your Word and walking on Your Path.

May Your Presence within bring bubbles of JOY like a geyser to be a blessing for others and see Promises fulfilled that if we live in and for HIM confessing and repenting of our human failings that we will live an undisturbed geyser life of Beauty and Hope.

I m a wife, mother and grandmother. I have always enjoyed writing even from an early age. My book Beyond the Ashes has been written as a labour of love. All the characters are real to me and their story needed to be told. As a Christian my desire is to write General Fiction stories about real people but Hope and a desire for 'better' will always be part of the journey. I have had several short stories published over the years and moderate success in writing competitions. I realized as I was thinking today (30/01/15) that perhaps I should add here that I have had life experiences of many valley times but also many mountain top experiences. I can understand and be beside anyone who finds their life in tatters because I have 'been' there. Of course as I have got older as well there have been the added sorrows of losing not only older family members but also one by one finding the dearest of friends and the ones of greatest support and care also dying. On the site of rich mountains has been my certainty of the value of marriage and how grateful I am that after loss and sadness I made a happy and long-lasting marriage commitment. The one who was my best friend back then is still my best friend 45 years later. Beyond the Ashes touches upon the POWER of LOVE when folk can forget about their own personal 'feelings' and reach out in LOVE to a desperate and broken person.
